This has been a year of rethinking our priorities, refocusing our efforts, and reflecting on those things for which we at the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation are thankful. High on our gratitude list are all of you, who help promote, preserve, support and keep jazz alive in Blue Jay.

We celebrate and thank our many sponsors, donors and volunteers who work so hard to support The Blue Jay Jazz Foundation and give generously of your time, talent and treasure. Although we would typically host “Jazz by the Lake” to express our thanks, such an event was not possible with so many of our friends and sponsors facing challenging circumstances. Consequently we have redirected our resources to our 2010 summer concert series and continuing to strengthen our commitment to ensure support for promising young jazz talent through the “Next Generation Jazz Scholarship Project.
