Bringing Jazz To The San Bernardino
It's 2016, it's summer and it's HOT! This year we have the perfect antidote. The best way to cool you off before the cool down of fall. The 2016 Blue Jay Jazz Festival - Thursday's In August!
The Pilot Fire continues to burn in the San Bernardino Mountains.
As of Tuesday, August 9, the fire was 6% contained.
We are happy to report, thanks to a U.S. Forest Service led coalition of first responders,
our Lake Arrowhead community is out of immediate danger.
However, due to the concerns which precipitated “Mandatory” and “Voluntary” evacuations,
the blaze has impacted our ability to provide the festival event we intended.
After thoughtful deliberation, we are cancelling the August, 11th performance of
Chieli Minucci and Special EFX featuring, Lao Tizer.
We know this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
We look forward to seeing you at our August 18th “Blue Jay Mountain Jam” concert.
Thank you for your continued support of our local community and the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation.
THE BLUE JAY JAZZ FOUNDATION CELEBRATES THE LEGACY OF JAZZ BY INSPIRING, ENTERTAINING, EDUCATING AND DEVELOPING FUTURE JAZZ AUDIENCES FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

The 2015 Blue Jay Jazz Festival, brought some old, some new and the always familiar expectation of excellence! We took a big step this year and met a new challenge by moving from our traditional Thursday nights, to the more appealing and accessible Saturday nights. As you might expect, attendance was high! This years performing artist; Lao Tizer ‘Featuring Karen Briggs’, Poncho Sanchez and Pete Escovedo, left a lasting impression on our decision. They were fired up for everyone who came “ready for the weekend”! It looks like Saturday nights are here to stay!
