The 2015 Blue Jay Jazz Festival, brought some old, some new and the always familiar expectation of excellence! We took a big step this year and met a new challenge by moving from our traditional Thursday nights, to the more appealing and accessible Saturday nights. As you might expect, attendance was high! This years performing artist; Lao Tizer ‘Featuring Karen Briggs’, Poncho Sanchez and Pete Escovedo, left a lasting impression on our decision. They were fired up for everyone who came “ready for the weekend”! It looks like Saturday nights are here to stay!
2016 is already shaping up to be a landmark year for the Blue Jay Jazz Festival and the Blue Jay Jazz Foundation! We hope that you stay tuned, we will be updating the site with more news and information we are sure will put you in anticipation for next August. Fall, winter and spring are bringing changes, not only to the landscape around you, but to your favorite mountain Jazz fest as well.
